On November 11th our little boy turned the big 2. We had so much fun celebrating his birthday. We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the next day had a Dirt Bike party or him.

This weekend Grammy came up to visit us. We went to Murphy's  and had breakfast, walked around the cute little shops, got ice cream and played at the park right next to a beautiful creek.  On Sunday, Auntie Heather, Lexi and the boys came up and we played at the park. We all had such a great time. It was a very relaxing  weekend and such awesome weather.

Last weekend Will,Parker, Murphy and I went for a drive up in the hills. We went out of Long Barn and discovered beautiful trees, rocks and little baby trout. Murphy was in Heaven, he ran all over God's creation but still stuck around. He would come and check in every once in a while to make sure that we were all okay.  Parker loved gathering rocks and sticks. He would try to skip rocks in the river like Will.   We all went barefoot and walked across the rocks.  We found some different looking pine cones, some that I have never seen before, so we brought those home.  Murphy experienced riding on top of the dog box for the first time and didn't really know what to think.  He finally jumped down and got inside where he felt more safe.  We packed a picnic and had a wonderful relaxing time.  Parker is such a trooper and his favorite part of the whole trip was that on the forest service roads he got to sit up front with Mommy and Daddy and experience life outside of the back seat.

Back To School

August 25th was the first day back to school. I'm attending Columbia College and it's the most beautiful campus. It's so quiet and peaceful. There are creeks along the trails and in the middle of campus there is a reservoir with ducks and geese swimming in it. The last time I attended college was right after I graduated from High School in 99'. The last seven years I was in banking and decided that it was time for me to head back to college. My dream is to become a teacher .  My Mom is a retired teacher and my mother-in- law is a teacher. As far back as I can remember I have always wanted to teach. When I was younger I would help my mom in her classroom and help grade papers for her. When I was in Junior High School and in High School I would go to my mom's classroom and read to the children and play outside with them.

As my journey continues as a college student I look forward to expanding my knowledge and accomplishing my dream.
